Card Cribbage

Card Cribbage is a very famous game played frequently by people of every age group in clubs and social gatherings. It is an interesting creation of an Englishmen in the seventeenth century which is now proving to be beneficial for every card lover. It is surprising that with a pack of thirty two cards we can play many games. It is even more interesting that sometimes a game can be played by ten and more players. This is why card games have developed as an important tool for nourishing ones mental abilities. Card Cribbage can be played by two or more than two even number players. Basically, according to the tradition this game i9s played only between two players but with the passage of time certain modifications have been made to this game and its rules.

The basic purpose of the players is to group the cards in a certain way and gain points. Points are assigned beforehand to the groups of cards. It has many distinctive features that separate it from the other card games. First is that a scoring board is kept for counting the points, second is a box or a hand that counts for the dealer and lastly there are two separate scoring stages in this game. There is a surprise factor in this game which enables a player to benefit from a unique system of points if he has groups of cards that total fifteen.

Card Cribbage

The rules are very simple and have been there for a long period of time. Basically the player cuts for the first deal and the dealer has to shuffle the cards and give each player five or six cards. The number of cards depends upon the number of players in the game. Then each player has to keep four cards with himself and discard the rest which will then form a crib which the dealer will use. At this point, every player will have a total of four cards in his hands and the crib of the dealer will also have four cards in it. After this the game starts by cutting the deck and if the first car comes out to be a joker then the dealer scores two points. The game continues and card after card is drawn and groups of cards are made by the players. Each player has to retain the minimum number of cards. After the deck finishes everyone counts his points and the one with the most points win the game.
